Production in a High-Tech Environment

Since the founding of Klinkenberg over 100 years ago, technology has certainly not stood still. On the contrary, the technical possibilities now seem endless! With us, you have access to a high-tech machinery park that guarantees you the most advanced development technologies available on the market.

Our products—Screw Conveyors, dosing systems, and mixers—are used across various sectors such as the food and pharmaceutical industries, chemical processing, and sludge and biomass handling. Some applications require specific safety standards; for this reason, we can develop our systems with ATEX certification.

Production and Machinery

Our versatile machine park includes an autonomous welding robot that manufactures components such as screw shafts, screw flights, or screw presses with extremely high precision. This is how production brings customer-driven designs to life. Many components of dosing or Screw Conveyors are made from stainless steel, carbon steel, or wear-resistant materials. Several immersion baths are available for pickling and passivating stainless steel. Carbon steel and stainless steel are, of course, processed separately, as carbon steel can affect the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.

The department responsible for producing your screw systems closely collaborates with other Klinkenberg experts. Together, they align the design with the customer's requirements and the project planning, ensuring that production stays on track.

Marco Kruidenberg

Marco Kruidenberg Work Preparation / Purchasing

I’m Marco Kruidenberg and I’ve been with Klinkenberg Zaanstad since 1988.


I started on the production floor, where I became familiar with many of the company’s operations.
Later I moved to the office, where I now handle work preparation, purchasing, and planning. I also coordinate production projects. This role involves frequent contact with both suppliers and customers, which makes the job very enjoyable.

Rodney Donker

Rodney Donker Workshop manager

My name is Rodney Donker, and I’ve been the Workshop Manager at Klinkenberg Zaanstad since 2010. I gained experience in a similar position in the tank construction industry. I closely coordinate production activities with the work preparation and engineering departments, ensuring the production team delivers a great end product. In addition to new builds, I’m also involved in Klinkenberg’s service requests, which keeps the work varied and challenging.

My responsibilities at Klinkenberg Zaanstad B.V. include the sales of screw flights, purchasing of various materials, and work preparation for production.
