A good screw design depends on several factors

When designing screw conveyor systems (horizontal, diagonal, or vertical), a Klinkenberg engineer must consider the various flow characteristics of the powder, granules, flakes, or fibers. All material handling systems start with a thorough assessment of the particles being handled or processed.

Once the flow characteristics of a solid have been quantified, potential flow issues with a given material can be predicted and addressed—preferably during the initial design phase.

Once the digital engineering drawings are submitted to the factory, we begin production. The high finishing standard that Klinkenberg pursues requires optimal coordination between machinery and craftsmanship.

Klinkenberg is equipped with the most advanced and specialized machines. In our in-house production facility (over 3,500 m²), only the best craftsmen with a renowned trade background are at work. Klinkenberg manufactures over 90% of its products internally, ensuring complete quality control.

When purchasing a Screw Conveyor, Lump Breaker, Screw Heat Exchanger, or a Mixer, proper packaging is of course part of the process. Klinkenberg takes care of this for you. But packaging alone isn’t enough—the Tubular Screw Conveyor or Trough Screw Conveyor must also be safely delivered to its destination. Klinkenberg has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with a professional packaging company and road transporter who know exactly how to ensure your valuable machinery arrives safely and securely.
