In addition, the machines are protected using, among other things, a blue transparent nitrite-free polyethylene film – double-acting – with active VCI corrosion protection. This film is waterproof and sealable. It continuously releases small amounts of volatile active agents, which protect metal surfaces. It provides contact-based protection for steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, nickel, and chrome. It also protects against weather and corrosion.
