Ergonomic cleaning thanks to gas springs on the covers
Hybrid Heating with Screw Heat Exchangers Efficient heating with electric or combined systems
Electric heating is almost always more cost-effective in operation than steam or thermal oil heated electrically, as there are no heat losses in the transport lines. It is often also cheaper to purchase; the machines do not need to be double-walled, saving material and production time.

Combining Direct and Indirect Heating Smart solutions for optimal temperature control
Hybrid variants are also possible, featuring both indirect and direct heat input. Direct heating of the product is achieved via injected steam using pop-up nozzles that automatically close upon pressure loss to prevent backflow. Indirect heating through the trough wall can be electric, for example with silicone heating mats or mica plate elements.

Request a quoteHygienic and easy to clean
The requirements for the cleanability of screw conveyors in the food industry are becoming increasingly stringent. For example, our silicone lid gaskets are easy to remove, ensuring thorough cleaning.
Especially when cleaning is frequent, it is desirable that all internal parts of the machines are easily accessible for the cleaning personnel. This can be achieved by using large manholes designed so that you can reach everywhere easily without the need for stools or ladders. Ergonomics is also playing an increasingly important role. That is why Klinkenberg ensures that opening hatches is easy, for example by using gas springs.
