Retention Under Controlled Conditions Stable Temperature Control with Minimal Energy Consumption

Unlike heating screws, a residence time screw requires significantly less thermal power, as the product only needs to be kept at a stable temperature. In many cases, it is not necessary to heat the shaft and flights; wall heating alone is sufficient. The wall can be heated in various ways, including using a heating medium (such as steam, hot water, or thermal oil) or electric options (such as silicone heating mats or ceramic elements).
